María Paniagua Sancho, PhD joined Modeling Nature

Project as a postdoctoral fellow. Her primary focus will be on investigating cell communication and tumor dynamics, delving into the complexities of cancer biology. Her primary interest lies in developing 3D biomimetic models that simulate the tumor microenvironment, aiming to thoroughly investigate the role of immune system cells in this context. Consequently, she actively engages in validating innovative therapeutic strategies with potential applications in the clinical field. María completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Pathophysiology and Pharmacology at the University of Salamanca. Prior to joining the Modeling Nature Project, she occupied a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Neuroscience of Castilla y León in Salamanca. During this time, she honest herself in the study of glioblastomas and their tumor microenvironment.
