Zineb Hassainia obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Université de Rennes in 2015. Following her doctoral studies, she joined the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University as a Courant Instructor (2015–2018), where she developed her research in analysis and fluid mechanics while contributing actively to the academic community.

In 2018, she became a Research Scientist at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), continuing her work at the intersection of nonlinear analysis and partial differential equations, with a strong focus on problems arising in fluid dynamics.

Since September 2025, Zineb has been a Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at the University of Granada, where she continues to pursue her research on nonlinear PDEs, free boundary problems, and the mathematical modeling of complex fluid phenomena.

Her work combines rigorous analytical techniques with deep insight into physical models, contributing to the understanding of fundamental mechanisms in fluid motion and related nonlinear systems.
