Francisco Galisteo González is a senior researcher with more than 25 years of
experience in nanomaterials for immunodiagnosis and drug delivery, within the
Dpt. Of Applied Physics at the University of Granada. He is a specialist in synthesis
of nanoparticles of diEerent nature, colloidal stability and characterization,
immunodiagnostic latex systems and nanomedicine for drug delivery. He has
published 80 international papers in these areas and participated in numerous
research projects. Currently he is leading a national project of synthesis and
characterization of triple targeted biomimetic nanoparticles for pancreas and
breast cancer, which main goal is the development of complex biomimetic
nanomaterials loaded with anticancer therapeutic agents (drugs, toxin peptides or
miRNAs mimics) to target proliferative tumor cells (TC), cancer stem cells (CSCs),

and the tumor microenvironment (TME) for both pancreatic cancer (PC) and triple-
negative breast cancer (TNBC).
